HighARCS engaged in testing a new biodiversity research-policy interface for Europe
HighARCS team members from IUCN, Roskilde University and University of Essex were invited to attend the FP7 KNEU (Creating a Network of Knowledge for biodiversity and ecosystems services) Coordination Action Biodiversity Knowledge WP3 Workshop on testing the Network of Knowledge (NoK) prototype with a conservation case, 23-24 May 2012, BELSPO, Brussels (http://www.biodiversityknowledge.eu). Lead Coordinator Dr Stuart Bunting (University of Essex) participated in the workshop representing the HighARCS consortium and undertook to contribute new knowledge from the HighARCS project to the Strategic Review on multi-functional floodplain management and its potential contribution to ecosystem services delivery and biodiversity conservation and enhancement.
